Yaga wins the Nordic Game Discovery Contest at Dev.Play


Breadcrumbs Interactive won the Nordic Game Discovery Contest from Dev.Play 2017 by pitching their roleplaying folktale Yaga.


Their winning streak didn't end there, they also took home the prize for Best Visuals at the Indie Expo Awards.


Yaga is an action RPG with light rogue-like elements about a one-handed blacksmith sent on an impossible quests by an envious king. The game features elements from Eastern European folklore and mythology.

Nordic Game Discovery Contest is a competition taking place across Europe to discover the most promising games with the best potential for becoming global hits. One of the qualifying rounds was the one at this year's Dev.Play. The winner will go on to compete for Game of the Year in the NGDC Finals at Nordic Game 2018, 23-25 May in Malmö, Sweden.
